Preparing for the Trip

We are less than a month away from leaving for Leogane, Haiti. For those of you wondering, Rik, his best friend Ryan, and I are going to Haiti March 26- April 2. We are joining a group called Hands on Disaster Response. They are a wonderful group who did work in Haiti after the hurricane disasters in 2008. Upon arrival at the site, they provide everything you need while you are with them. Check them out at hodr.org. We feel this is the best organization to join because of their willingness to let us join for only a week. We are very excited about our trip but we know this is going to be a challenge like no other. We need everyone's thoughts and prayers while we are in Haiti.
